First of all, downloads won't get you started. You first need a good program to DJ with. PCDJ FX KJ is one example if you are using a computer. Hoster and PCDJ are great if you are mixing music and doing karaoke together. Virtual DJ works well also. Along with these programs, you need to practice BPM matching. Smooth transition from one song to the next is a key ingredient. You also need the music. I can't tell you where to get the music because I don't endorse any one company other than my own. You need to know what to play and when to play it based on the crowd you are dealing with. You can't just play the music you like. You also need to please every one. But all of this knowledge is useless without a good system. You need powerful equipment. Good equipment is the best thing for a DJ. You want to make sure there is no line buzz, line loss, feed-back, or distortion. You need to understand what frequencies do. A good feed-back requisitioning system is a must. I use a Behringer FBQ twin channel 32 band. It tells you what frequencies are feeding, and you can eliminate them. And that is just for DJing. If you want to make your own music, I use FL Studio 8. Get it and learn to use it. Making the music once you learn how to is another story, and requires a lot of practice and talent, as well as sheer artistic ability. Hope this helps. If I did not answer your question please let me know. I will help any other way I can. Raven
